An Overview

Art is very important to Nationale Suisse. This is expressed, not only in our claim “the Art of Insurance”, but also by our strong involvement in the art world, and not least by our respected art insurance Artas^®.

Fascinated by art: That is what connects us with art lovers, private collectors, gallery owners, museums and exhibitors. Nationale Suisse has built up a collection of contemporary Swiss art which is one of the most important of its kind – as our contribution to the support of Swiss art. In addition we present a sponsorship award for young artists every year. And since 2009, Nationale Suisse has been funding the restoration of “Acanthes”, one of the major works of Henri Matisse. Our wide-ranging experience and expertise in dealing with art are at the disposal of our fine arts insurance, Artas®.

A Collection of Swiss Art: The Art Collection

The art collection of Nationale Suisse comprises over 1,500 works by around 400 artists. The main focus of the collection is painting, drawing, photography and sculpture.
