Protection Against Defective Work

The owner, meaning the recipient of the guarantee, receives coverage from Nationale Suisse through the certificate of guarantee. We act as guarantor against latent defects within the scope of the guaranteed sum and term. If no amicable agreement can be reached between you and the owner of the building, Nationale Suisse has the notified defect inspected by an expert and endeavours to bring about an agreement. In the case that services have to be provided for the building’s owner, Nationale Suisse would have recourse to the contractor liable under the guarantee.

Insurance On Demand

Nationale Suisse, after an inspection of your annual report and your overall economic situation, may offer you an on-demand policy, which can be activated for various building projects. Closure of a building guarantee contract is undertaken at the same time as the public liability insurance.
