The uniform payroll reporting procedure (or ELM for "Einheitliches Lohnmeldeverfahren") is the Swiss standard for the electronic transfer of payroll data. It enables your company to send Nationale Suisse its payroll total for the purposes of accident and health insurance without exiting your payroll accounting programme. The procedure is quite simple: it only takes one mouse click to transfer your data for a whole year.

The system grants you enormous advantages: you no longer need to compile payroll data for each individual insurance policy; you do not need to fill in and submit paper forms anymore; and you can substantially reduce the time you spend checking entries and lower your error rate because the payroll data is taken directly from your payroll accounting programme. That saves you time and cuts costs.

Data Protection Guaranteed at All Times

We can of course provide you with all the necessary information. In order to deploy ELM, your payroll accounting software must be certified by Swissdec. Please consult the Swissdec website for an up-to-date list (in German). Swissdec – a joint project of several independent partners, one of whom is Nationale Suisse – is a quality label for payroll accounting systems. The aim of Swissdec is to simplify data exchange, while ensuring the data is fully protected at all times.
